Unit pricing improves as placement size grows because mobilization, equipment and crew time spread across more production. Below are the volume bands we bid against. We do not publish fixed per-square-foot prices — real numbers come from your drawings and specifications.

Slab thickness

5", 6", 7", 8" or heavier sections change concrete volume and subgrade prep directly.

Concrete PSI & mix design

3,000–5,000+ PSI, fiber blends, shrinkage-compensating or low-w/c mixes all move unit cost.

Reinforcement

Rebar mats, dowel baskets, WWF, macro or steel fiber each carry different material and labor loads.

Subgrade & base

Lime or cement stabilization, select fill, vapor barrier and proof rolling are often the biggest variables in Texas soils.

Floor flatness

Standard, FF/FL specified, or superflat defined-traffic floors require different equipment and crew size.

Commercial Concrete Questions

What size commercial concrete projects do you take on?+

Our work starts around 10,000 square feet and scales into multi-hundred-thousand square foot warehouse and distribution center slabs. We are set up for volume production placements, not small-scope work.

Do you provide volume pricing for large slabs?+

Yes. Unit pricing improves as square footage and placement size increase because mobilization, equipment and crew time are spread across more production. Volume pricing is quoted against your plans, specs and schedule.

Can I send plans and specifications for a bid?+

Yes. Upload blueprints, structural drawings, geotech reports and spec sections through the Request a Bid form. Complete documents produce a line-item bid instead of a rough range.

How much does a warehouse concrete slab cost per square foot?+

Cost depends on thickness, PSI, reinforcement, subgrade preparation, flatness requirements and schedule. We do not publish fixed per-square-foot prices because a 6" reinforced FF/FL floor and a 5" fiber slab are not comparable scopes.

Do you self-perform or subcontract the work?+

Placement, finishing and layout scopes are performed by our crews, with specialty partners for items like stabilization, surveying and testing coordinated under the schedule.

What floor flatness can you achieve?+

We build to the specified FF/FL numbers in your contract documents, including random-traffic and defined-traffic floors where the layout and equipment plan support it.

How far in advance should large pours be scheduled?+

Large placements should be reserved well ahead so batch plant allocation, pump and finishing crews line up. Early bid submission also protects against material escalation.

Do you work as a subcontractor to general contractors?+

Yes. Most of our work is performed as a concrete subcontractor to general contractors, design-build firms and developers on commercial and industrial projects.
